The poisonous Serpent King Orochi broke time and space and took the DYNASTY WARRIORS and SAMURAI WARRIORS hostage to see how strong he was. In the end, the heroes beat Orochi and his dangerous army. While Orochi, who was killed, is in the netherworld, a mysterious group is coming up with a plan to bring the Serpent King back to life. Now, a new group of fighters must work with the best warriors in history to stop this evil from coming back to life.
The events of WARRIORS OROCHI 2 happen after those of the first game. The game’s primary “Story” mode has stories about the kingdoms of Wu, Wei, and Shu, as well as the SAMURAI WARRIORS. A new “Orochi” storyline goes back to the first wars to reveal some of the Serpent King’s secrets.
The game’s new “Dream” mode has a story different from the one in “Story Mode.”
In the new “Versus” mode for two players, there are four different games, including “Tag Team” matches in which each fighter goes head-to-head with the other.
This game’s sequel brings back the popular “Team Battle System,” which lets players put together their three-person fighting unit. At any given time, only one warrior will be in Battle, and the other two will rest and get their Life Meters and Musou Gauges back up to full.
