Nobbie developed the Halloween hack Super Spooky 64. There are 14 Stars and two courses in it. The hack is moderately challenging.
This hack’s hub world is a gloomy place with a muddy, desolate-looking area. A graveyard, a few enormous pumpkins, and a huge witch’s hat are notable features. In the back is a sizable mansion as well. You can look inside the witch’s hat to find two Toads—one introduces the hack briefly and the other queries Mario about the existence of an afterlife.
Mario has to crawl through a graveyard hole to get to the first lesson, Symptoms of Death. Mario must enter the mansion after earning 5 Stars in order to access the second course, Bloody Rotten Walls.
The HUD has some obvious visual differences. Mario’s life gauge is a set of four yellow hearts, and the digits for coins and stars are purple with a dull yellow X between them.
