The improved version of Pokémon Diamond is called Pokémon Diamond Deluxe. You can capture Pokémon from the Diamond and Pearl games. Pokémon that used to evolve through trades can now evolve through leveling up, and those that require an item during a trade must possess that item and level up in order to evolve.
This game kicks off the fourth generation of the Pokémon franchise along with Pokémon Pearl. It has 107 new Pokémon, bringing the total to 493, and is set in a new area called Sinnoh. Additionally, it is the first online game in the series to support trading and Wi-Fi battles. In order to reach the pinnacle of Pokémon mastery, players can collect badges, take on the Elite Four, and more.
The core concept of previous Pokémon games is carried over into this one: as a new trainer, you set out on a mission to capture every Pokémon and vanquish the Pokémon league. You will thwart Team Galactic’s schemes along the way, which center on using three legendary Pokémon to reawaken a titan with the ability to manipulate time. Team Galactic is an evil organization. Along the way, there are numerous side quests and other activities, such as the Battle Tower and catching other legendaries.
An RPG turn-based combat system is used in the mainline Pokémon series. Up to four attacks can be learned by each monster. The opponent with the higher Speed attacks first as both opponents choose their attacks in a single turn. The Attack and Defense stats affect how much damage is dealt. In the past, an attack’s elemental type determined whether it belonged in the Physical or Special category. Each attack in Diamond and Pearl can be classified separately; thus, attacks that use natural elements are classified as Special, while attacks that rely solely on brute force are classified as Physical.
With many new features, the Pokémon Contests from Ruby and Sapphire are back. You’ll dress up your Pokémon and dance to the music in addition to the attack performance, where you must try to impress the judge with flashy moves. The real time system from Gold and Silver, in which day and night are reflected in your game, is also brought back by Diamond and Pearl. Some Pokémon can only be caught at specific times of the day.
