Following the success of the Ninja Gaiden series, Tecmo continues to release Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom 1991. The game has a number of features that are different from the previous versions but still retain the familiar adventure gameplay.

To complete the mission, Ryu will go through many different terrains with dangerous enemies. The difficulty of the game is enhanced as he approaches Castle Rock fortress to destroy Clancy. The player’s original weapon is a dragon sword. This Weapon will help Ryu destroy the original enemies. Collecting other weapons such as boomerang, Fire Dragon Balls, Fire Wheel Art, Invincible Fire Wheel with great power will help him easily kill enemies. The Scrolls of the spirit of the Dragon special item, collected on fixed areas on the map when the player defeats the boss, can help maximize his ninja power. After going through dangerous areas, Ryu will be led to the final area. In Castle Rock fortress, he will have to fight with the clancy arranged by Clancy. With the collected items and weapons, he must quickly destroy them so as not to lose too much stamina. Ryu will be taken to the final area, telling Clancy to hide and make the final battle. Flexible movement, precise use of weapons are essential for him to defeat Clancy. The mission completed when Ryu successfully defeated Clancy, deciphering the mystery of Irene Lew’s death.
