Lord of Arcana

The action role-playing game Lord of Arcana transports the player (controlling a character that can be customized) to the land of Horodyn, where he must earn the Arcana power to progress through the game. To achieve this goal, he will need to refine his talents by completing quests given to him by the slayers guild in the settlement of Porto Carillo. The objectives of the investigations include defeating certain enemies, collecting certain materials, and so on. As the player’s strength increases, the Arcana Stones in the adjacent Arayd Temple will begin to awaken. This will open the door for the player to fight the Master Guardians and take their power.

The quests occur in predetermined locales such as woodlands, caves, and deserts, among other types of terrain. After completing these tasks and fighting the monsters they include, numerous materials can be gathered (either from the field, after combat, or by destroying Monster Parts). These materials can then be used in the town to build various equipment. In addition to consumable things like potions and charms, one can equip a wide range of weapons, armor, orbs, and cards.

There are five distinct categories of weaponry, each of which has a set of unique advantages and disadvantages. It will benefit the player to switch weapons based on the character they choose to fight.

The armors consist of the shield, the headpiece, and the armors. They can provide a significant amount of protection and sometimes feature spaces that can be used to equip orbs.

Orbs can manifest a diverse set of abilities at will. Some can be utilized to strengthen elemental attacks or defenses; others can make mobility faster, while others can highlight the vulnerable spots on creatures.

To do magical acts, you need to use cards. There are the standard spells and the more powerful Ultimate Magics, which can call upon the Arcana Guardians to do some genuinely great deeds.

The Guild also serves as a location where numerous players can meet together to participate in cooperative questing using the ad hoc mode of the PSP. The available quests are those the host player can engage in throughout normal gameplay.
