Military robots wreak mayhem in a Metropolis research center known for its cutting-edge technology. In Finland, the top-secret Deep Space Communications Array is taken over by creatures that have been created through genetic engineering. A Nevada missile site is taken over by a group of outlaws with extraordinary abilities who have never worked together. And scores of extraterrestrial warriors, who had been imprisoned for a long time deep beneath the surface of Mars, are finally allowed to break free…
At first glance, these incidents appear to have no connection to one another and are components of a devious plot. To foil it, it will take the combined efforts of the most powerful superheroes on the planet: the Justice League.
The well-known D.C. Comics series inspires the action game Justice League Heroes, which also features a co-op mode for two players. Take control of some of D.C. Comics’ most well-known characters, including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, The Flash, and Zatanna, as well as a small cast of playable characters that can be unlocked later on, including Aquaman, Green Arrow, Hawkgirl, Huntress, Hal Jordan, and Kyle Rayner. In addition, the PSP edition includes two unlocked heroes not available in any other version: Supergirl and Black Canary.
Players engage in combat in well-known settings such as the city of Metropolis, S.T.A.R. laboratories, and the Watchtower of the Justice League for the first time ever.
Brainiac, Killer Frost, Darkseid, and Doomsday are D.C.’s most formidable foes who will be pitted against our heroes. Fights against bosses are intense and varied, with no two bosses being defeated similarly.
The acquisition of experience orbs from various foes, including Brainiac’s assassin droids, The White Martians, and creatures from other dimensions, is required to advance in the game and access new superpowers. Using some unique orbs referred to as “boosts” might increase one’s superpowers. The boosts include improvements to damage, efficiency, attack range, luck, speed, and the duration of superpowers. Combining several different gains into a single, more potent boost is possible. Orbs and increases are available for players to spend on customizing their heroes in a manner most suited to their play styles.
You can collect the unique shield icons scattered around the game and then spend them to unlock characters and various costumes for the heroes. These costumes can change the heroes’ abilities in addition to their appearances.
