Sega developed the original arcade version of Jambo Safari, and the Wii version of the game is based on it. In Jambo Safari for the Wii, the player is one of four park rangers tasked with collecting and caring for various wild African creatures. Most of your time will be spent in the game attempting to snare animals using ropes while on one of the game’s four vehicles. Two of these automobiles are legal Landrovers, but the other two, a quad cycle and a Bombardier, are not. Neither of these four vehicles has a license. After being captured in Africa’s vast, unfenced savannas, the animals are transported to the facility where they will receive medical attention and care.
The Wii version of the game includes, in addition to the traditional arcade-style gameplay, animal treatment minigames, a wider variety of missions (such as wildlife photography and balloon rides), co-op missions, several party games, and fully adjustable characters and vehicles. In addition, the game also allows for complete character and vehicle customization.
Ostrich racing, pebble skimming, and a Chu-Chu rocket-inspired game called “Meerkat Madness” are some of the games that will be played at the celebration.
