EA Sports has released yet another football game, UEFA Euro 2008. This time around, it’s a modified version of FIFA 08 that lets players experience the European Championships that will take place this summer.
The Euro 2008 video game gives you complete control over any national football team from Europe, and you can do so in various ways. For instance, you might decide to develop your raster and put in as much effort as possible, excelling at the role you play on the field to earn the right to captain your team. The “be a pro” mode from FIFA 08 has essentially been recreated here, albeit with a few tweaks here and there.
You can also put your skills to the test by competing in a variety of tournaments and challenges to unlock more content or just see where you stand. You can play through the entire championship experience, which includes the rounds of qualification, or you can jump immediately to the phases when the groups compete. You can also play a reasonably lengthy challenge game, which allows you to try to make your nation the best in European football by completing many challenges against all other European teams. This option is available to play.
Similar to FIFA 08, the game’s PC and console versions are significantly distinct. They are derived from two unique game engines.
