Pro Evolution Soccer 2011

Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 for PC, PS3 and other platforms is the latest game in the Japanese football series. It was made by an internal Konami team led by Shingo “Seabass” Takatsuki and released yearly. The new entry adds new features and removes some of the things that the previous entries were built on.

Mechanics

Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 adds new ways to play. The familiar Become Copa Libertadores and Master League Online join a Legend, Master League, and Champions League. This management mode lets us lead a customized team in online matches. Unfortunately, most leagues and teams use fake names, and the only companies with real player names are the French Ligue 1 and the Dutch Eredivisie.

The game’s passing mechanics were changed. In the previous games in the series, you just pressed a button and chose which way to go. Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 puts a lot of emphasis on the direction and strength of the pass, and this makes it easier to make accurate passes and makes the game more casual.

Aside from picking a team and formation, players could also follow specific instructions (such as pressing hard and setting offside traps) during different parts of the game and predict what would happen (e.g., order the players to attack if the match is a draw).

Lastly, the people who made the game added new animations, like speeding up, and made the players and stadiums look better. We can also go to a stadium editor or a gift shop with odd add-ons like candy or footballs that look like barrels.
