Kenka Bancho – Badass Rumble

Walking battles are the focus of Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble, a video game that belongs to the type of game known as “walking battles.” In this game, the player assumes the character of a high school student who is also the leader of a street statue-obsessed gang. The game’s development was handled by Spike studio, while Atlus Company dealt with its distribution.

The popular series in Japan has reached its third iteration with the release of Badass Rumble. This time, we will go to the bustling, imaginary city of Kyoto with the main character, Takashi. A seven-day school trip that appears relatively harmless at first glance turns out to be a cycle of ongoing conflicts instead. They are held in ranked order, once in the morning and once in the evening.

We engage in brawls with members of local gangs and their leaders, known as Pancho, who have recently moved into the city. In total, there are forty-seven of this banco. Following the conclusion of each skirmish, our squad is allowed to assume control of a unique blow, which it has been bragging about. Because of this, fights against other competitors are simplified, and the likelihood of us becoming Japan’s preeminent branch increases.

Hand-to-hand fighting is the primary focus of battles, and players are encouraged to draw from diverse styles of martial art. The ability to control the laser from the perspective of one’s eyeballs is an intriguing additional feature. Throughout the game, we have complete control over how our character looks, including the ability to alter its features, coloring, and hairdo, as well as the garments they wear. The entirety of an article of clothing can be bought from specialized retailers.

Not only does Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble provide a story mode for a lone player, but it also allows two players to work together. But this is not the end of the story because the developers have also included an option for a night out. We were on a school trip and staying at a hotel, and in the middle of the night, we managed to sneak out of the hotel and engage in combat with members of the Yakuza.
