The tale that began in the Megamind movie is continued in this video game, which takes place after those events. As many as four players can take control of Megamind and one of eight other characters as they fight against a wave of criminal activity by The Doom Syndicate and their henchmen. As you progress through the story mode, you will unlock new battle modes after each chapter. These modes can then be played at any time.
Most of the action takes place in brawling arenas, while sporadic shooting sequences are set in environments where buildings can be partially destroyed. Using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, you can leap, hurl objects, engage in close combat, or shoot the bad guys from a distance. Find power-ups to increase your health, shields, and damage, and use them. Construct useful devices like a Mega Essence Tracker and a Bio Essence Neutralizer to locate and defeat the nefarious characters.
