When the plane explodes, Luke will start the stage again.
Overcoming dangerous areas at the first stage, Luke will reach the surface of the Death Star. The surface contains many stars and the fighters are constantly moving. Controlling the laser head to the left and right continuously will help Luke destroy all enemies. When destroying all those planes, he advanced deep into the equator of Darth Star. Here, Luke only has to destroy alien debris and collect bonus points. If he is incapable of fighting enemies in stages, he can evade those attacks by moving the aircraft up and down.
In the final stages of the game, Luke must fight a proton torpedo to find a way out for his plane. This torpedo constantly attacks to stop him from moving on. Luke will constantly attack the laser on the torpedo until it explodes. Keeping a safe distance from the proton torpedo will help him destroy it easily. The game ends when Luke destroys the torpedo.
