Power Blade 2 is an action game developed by Taito for Nintendo. The game was released in North America and Japan in 1992. According to the game’s story, on December 24, 2200 – a time in the future, a company specializing in weapons research, called the Delta Foundation, developed a robot called a cyborg. They are used as a programmed elite soldier with special abilities compared to ordinary people. With the ability to fly, release lasers to attack enemies with absolute precision. These robots are very hard to destroy. If produced in large numbers, it would create a very strong army that could defeat all other armies.
During the investigation of this company by the US military, they sent some information about these robots to the US president after monitoring the company executives. There is an important piece of information that the president receives. That is, if his government does not buy them, they will sell it to another government. Leaving these robots in the hands of other governments would pose a great danger to the United States. Knowing the dangers of these robots, the president of the United States summoned his best soldiers. Through a selection, he selected a soldier to suit his needs. This soldier is named Nova. He was assigned a secret mission to infiltrate Delta Foundation and destroy all cyborg robots and documents about them.
Similar to some other action games, players can choose any level to start playing. In the game, you play as Nova and help him complete his mission. The game consists of 4 stages where you have the right to choose the playing stage and a locked stage. If you want to unlock the final stage, you must complete all 4 previous stages. At each level, you will have to fight different enemies. Your goal at each level will be to destroy all enemy robots to destroy the room at that level. You must escape the room before it is destroyed. If you stand in that room, you will lose a life. In the final stage, you will have to fight the owner of the Delta Foundation company. You will complete the mission after defeating this last boss.
