Monopoly is an adventure game released by SEGA Enterprises in 1987. After the damage in the famous stock market on Wall Street in 1929, the background of the world economy is in a serious crisis. The unemployed in the city have created a card game to be able to earn money from others. The images in the game Monopoly reflect a part of the social situation of Wall Street in the last decades of the 20th century.
At the beginning of the game, the player will name his character. Next, a number of classes of the characters are displayed for them to choose. The classes that appear primarily in the game are merchants and nobles. They will be taken to a tournament table that can accommodate 8 people to start the game. The game supports up to eight players at once. If this is not enough, the system will automatically let the AI robots act as a player. Rules and scoring of the game are very simple. Each one alternately shakes and drops his two dice onto the table. The score of two dice on the board determines the number of moves the player has on the map. One of their targets will move to a cell containing unnamed assets. Players will use the bonus money collected from earlier to buy them. If there is not enough prize money, the property will be auctioned by other players. They will collect bonuses from their property auctions. Players continue to take turns shaking the dice after a player has settled. After a certain time, a list of players with a large number of properties will be displayed. They can trade with each other to increase bonuses as well as own certain assets on the map.
The properties on the map are provided to players in the form of simple houses. When they have enough money, they will upgrade the house into factories or hotels. When a level ends, the player with the highest score will receive a $200 in-game bonus. They will continue to be taken to the next level of the game with increasing difficulty. The game requires precision in calculations with the assets provided. If they want to own buildings of great value, they need to sell or auction some other properties to focus on upgrading.
