Little Samson is an action game released by Taito Corporation. The game takes place in a kingdom threatened by a dark prince. In this situation, the king summoned four heroes, Samson, Kikira Dragon, Gamm Golem and KO Mouse. Each hero to have superior strength and ready to participate in attacking any dangerous enemy. Samson attacks the enemy by throwing bells at them. He has high jump ability and moves on walls. Kikira Dragon is a dragon with the ability to fly and attack enemies by spewing fire. Gamm, a hero with overwhelming strength uses fists to destroy close-range opponents. However, his movement speed is slower than his teammates. KO is the last hero to be summoned by the king. He has the best jumping and moving ability in the team. A team of heroes must overcome many challenges in the journey to complete their mission.
Players will choose the difficulty of the game before controlling their characters to participate in challenges. There are two levels of difficulty for them to choose, easy and medium. Players will control the character Samson to join the journey to search and destroy the enemy. He must go through four major stages in the game in search of clues leading to the prince’s castle. In the first stage, Samson and his companions will be taken to a forest with many predefined enemies. They have to move skillfully to avoid falling into traps in the forest. Eliminating enemies will help them collect many items to regain stamina and experience points. A huge monster will appear at the end of the first stage. Samson must destroy it to receive clues that lead him and the other heroes to the next stage.
Samson will be transferred to different stages by a mysterious black hole. In the subsequent stages, the hero group must overcome many complex terrains such as mountainsides, castles and finally caves. More enemies appear at each stage to halt their journey. Samson will return to the beginning of the stage if killed by the enemy. Hero group discovers the prince’s castle in the third phase. However, he fled into a cave. Defeating the boss at the end of the third stage will lead them to the dark prince’s hideout. Samson and his companions gather their strength to defeat the dark prince in the final stages. The game ends when the hero group completes its mission, eliminates the dark knights and brings peace to the kingdom.
