Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom is an adventure action game released and developed by Atari Games for Nintendo into 1985. The story begins when Indiana Jones flees the pursuit of a Shanghai gangster named Lao Che. Along with Indiana Jones were two other people, close friend Short Round and nightclub singer after they had feuded with Lao Che. The trio hid in an airplane owned by Lao Cheo to flee. While the three of them slept, the plane took off, and they did not know the plane’s destination. Halfway through the flight, the aircraft crashed. Lao Che’s henchmen jumped out and left the three of them trapped on the plane. Finally, the plane landed at a peak in the Himalayas. They were dropped in a river; the water brought them to a poor village. The people here believe they are sent by the god Shiva to help them. They have lost the sacred Lingam stone, and the children here are missing by the evil forces in the Pankot Palace. The trio theorized that this stone was one of the five legendary Sankara stones.
This trio is warmly welcomed by the people here. One night, they were assassinated by some people. They discovered tunnels under the village after killing the assassins. They began to explore these tunnels and overcome some pitfalls along the way. Eventually, they arrived in a temple where the Thuggees worshipped Kali and discovered the truth. They decided to return to the village to prepare weapons. They then returned to rescue the missing children and the missing Sankara stone.
In the game, players will incarnate into Indiana Jones. Characters are equipped with a whip to destroy enemies. There are three stages that players need to pass in the game. Players will complete the tasks of these three stages sequentially. In the first stage, the player will get the children imprisoned from the cars by slamming the gate after destroying all the guards at each level. At the same time, players will have to avoid the dangers of the pitfalls along the way. Phase 2, the player will control the car carrying the kids to overcome the trappings on the move and not go into the dead end. In the final stage, you will find the stone after passing through the challenges of the game. Then you will have to confront the leader of the Thuggees if you want to win the game. You will have to play the first level of the stage you’re playing when the character dies.
