Mario must escape Reverse BroDute’s grasp after becoming permanently trapped in the Blue Realm. But in vain, he has set up a malicious trap for Mario in an effort to discipline him. Can the plumber’s struggle to make ends meet get any worse?
Discord in Star Revenge X Major ROM hack Star Adventure was developed by BroDute and released in June 2022. A sequel, it takes place after the events of SR5.5 Destroyed Memories, in which Mario was captured by Reverse BroDute and made into a card among his other possessions.
The game’s gimmick, however, is based on red coin challenges similar to those in Weegee (SR1) and Anti-Weegee (SR2 Act II). Of particular note is the feature presentation, which comes before the title, which features star-shaped emotes from BroDute’s Discord Server. The levels in the hack are arranged very differently from the rest of the series in that they must be completed one after the other without being required to do so, and there is no restricted death penalty or the presence of caps or keys.
