After Mario defeated Reverse BroDute in the Flying Fortress’s Needle, it became corrupted and crashed into Peach’s Castle, thereby imposing its will on the Mushroom Kingdom and changing it to conform to its desires. In order to put an end to this mess, Mario and BroDute have decided to go look for the Scepter of Faith.
BroDute is responsible for the creation of the ROM Hack known as Star Revenge 4.9: Adulterated Reality. Other contributors to the project include sizzlingmario4 and thebloody7. It is a continuation of Star Revenge 4.5: The Kedama Takeover Rewritten and acts as the sequel to the story in the chronological order. In addition to that, it features some minor tweaks to the levels and gimmicks, and it is a significantly more difficult take on the original game.
