In the video game Emergency Mayhem, the player assumes command of the various rescue operations in a city aptly dubbed Crisis City. The player takes the role of a paramedic, firefighter, or police officer as they attempt to save people, put out fires in burning buildings and even garbage fires, disarm bombs, and even utilize magnets to remove foreign items from people’s bodies while acting in the capacity of paramedics. Most of the game is played by moving around the city with the help of the Wii remote, pumping tires (by moving the remote up and down), and putting out fires (by dragging the remote in a side-to-side motion).
There is a mode known as the challenge mode and a mode known as the career mode. In both ways, the player can select a particular event or drive around the city seeking crises. There are 30 unique missions available, and the party mode may accommodate up to four players simultaneously.
