Super Mario: Mushroom Adventure PLUS – Winter Moon is a demo as well as a snow and ice-themed special that was created by the team behind Super Mario: Mushroom Adventure PLUS. It includes the following features:
- There are a total of nine new levels; five of them can only be found in this game, while the other four can be found in Super Mario: Mushrrom Adventure PLUS but have been altered for this game.
- Custom music, including some older tracks as well as some more recent ones.
- Brand new backdrops that are unique to this special.
- Retexturing as well as the addition of new texture sets
