The Simpsons: Bartman Meets Radioactive Man is an action genre game. The game was published by Acclaim for Nintendo Entertainment System in 1992. The story revolves around Bart’s journey. He is one of the fans and often follows the stories of Radioactive Man. While Bart was watching the latest comics about Radioactive Man, a boy suddenly appeared named Falloutboy and told Bart extremely important news. After the conversation, Bart learned that Radioactive Man was sent to Limbo – a mysterious prison revolving around a black hole and in danger. Bart is the only one who can save Radioactive Man right now. He immediately turned into Bartman and set out to rescue his idol. During the journey, he must fight many enemies to regain the lost power of Radioactive Man before facing the mastermind Brain-O the Magnificent. The story ends when Bart successfully rescues Radioactive Man and returns home.

At the start of Bartman Meets Radioactive Man, Bart Simpson will have to pass the first level with a background in a landfill. There are a total of four levels that players must pass. Throughout the journey, Bartman must face and defeat many enemies. In the first three levels, the bosses of each level are the ones who stole the power of Radioactive Man. They are Swamp Hag, Dr. Crab and Lava Man respectively. Defeating them all enabled Bart to regain the power of Radioactive Man. The final level begins after Bart gathers these powers. At this level, he must try to find and rescue Radioactive Man.

Bartman Meets Radioactive Man applies the principle of the horizontal scroll. Bart’s basic weapons are kicks and fists. He has only five hearts corresponding to the number of lives, each heart will disappear when Bart is attacked by enemies. Bart can restore his heart by collecting functional items with a radioactive symbol. If all hearts disappear, the game will end and have to start from the beginning. With the superhero version, Bart can move left and right and jump high. In addition, Bart also has to move flexibly to avoid deadly traps scattered in different places in the levels. During the move, the Player can collect random lightning-shaped symbols that give Bartman the ability to release lightning bolts to destroy enemies.
