Tamagotchi: Party On! is a game in which the players take control of several Tamagotchis. The next President of Tamaworld will soon be chosen, and to win the position, a series of competitions and examinations need to be completed that measure not only a candidate’s level of competence but also their level of compassion. Therefore, the player’s character, who can be chosen from a variety of Tamagotchis, will make every effort to meet people on the city’s streets and assist and comfort them to win popularity and do well in the minigames. This will allow the player to progress through the game. One of the side games available is called “Spot the Dessert.” In this game, a sweet is shown briefly, and then three more appear, one identical to the first while the other resembles it. The player is responsible for finding the equal one. The well-known and time-honored game of rock, paper, and scissors is the basis for Rock, Paper, and Scissors. To complete the Change the Time challenge, you must position both of a clock’s hands to correspond to those of another watch lying alongside it. In the game Water Pump, you must hold the Wii Remote horizontally, point the hose in the right direction, and pump water to water the flowers.
In this title, published in Japan in conjunction with the debut of the Wii platform, each minigame emphasizes the Wii Remote’s motion-sensing capabilities, and each one is preceded by a screen that explains how to play.
