The eleventh Doctor and Amy (played by Matt Smith and Karen Gillan, respectively) are tasked with assisting Lucy Gray, an abandoned human colony vessel, to return to Earth after being damaged by solar flares. They are first ambushed by robots designed for ship maintenance, then divided on the ship. The Doctor makes his way to the control room, where a Cyber Leader has connected to the ship’s artificial intelligence and is making death threats to the crew. Also, Cybermen attack Amy and chase her into space after she escapes from their grasp. They come across Daleks who are searching for a Time Axis as well.
As you take turns controlling the Doctor and Amy, you can retrieve crystals of varying colors from automated dispensers. However, you must employ stealth by hiding behind items and approaching your target from behind to avoid being seen by them. The crystals each serve a unique purpose: the green crystals unlock doors, the purple crystals can fix items, and the red crystals are utilized to escape potential dangers. To pass beyond a floating colored icon, a crystal of the same hue must be shot at it from the first-person perspective. There is a minigame after most chapters in which you must guide a photonic ball of energy along a circuit without causing it to collide with any obstacles or contact any of the walls. The Sonic Screwdriver Wii remote cover was included in the package with the game.
